We officially opened the porch for the summer last night, which basically means, we enjoyed a plethora of cocktails and good company. Needless to say, I wasn’t 100% this morning, so Jon whipped up this homemade hangover blend– a nice replacement for sugar-loaded gatorade and other electrolyte replacement drinks. Plus, it tastes a ton better. And I feel pretty dang good now.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 tsp. real salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 7 cups water
- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/4 cup honey
Preparation
Mix the salt and baking soda with water until dissolved. Add the lemon juice, lime juice and honey and shake well to combine. Serve over ice.
This sounds refreshing even when not hungover!
